Import Bid Postings Subscribers

Overview

This article will show you how to import a file with subscriber information to Bid Postings.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to Modules > Content > Bid Postings

  2. Select Choose an Action > Properties under the category you would like to import subscribers to

  3. Scroll down and check Allow Subscribers

  4. Click Save at the top of the page

  5. Select Choose an Action > Subscribers under the category you would like to import subscribers to

  6. Select Import Subscriptions

  7. Select Browse... to import your file of subscribers

    • Note: Also click Skip Confirmation Process if imported subscribers have already confirmed their request to receive your notifications.

    • Note: Ensure that your excel file is a .TXT or .CSV file and meets these formatting rules:
      • Fields must be separated by a tab or comma
      • Each record is on a separate line
      • All fields must be present, even if empty, only the SMS Number may be empty
      • Blank lines are allowed/ignored
      • Duplicate entries will be ignored
    • Note: Include these fields:
      • Email address (255 character limit)
      • SMS number: Should be empty, or in formats ########## or ###-###-####
      • Subscription Type: Limit to values "email," "SMS," or "both" 
        • Note: Do not include quotes
    • Other Notes:
      • New subscribers will receive HTML emails.
      • Existing subscribers will retain their format preference.
      • Existing subscribers will not be removed. 
  8. Select and click Open for your desired file
