Create a Page

Who can use this feature?

You are able to add new pages and subpages to your site.


  1. Ensure Live Edit is On
  2. Navigate to the category you wish to add a page to
  3. Select Add Page
    • Note: You may also select add page outside of the category if you wish to create a page outside of the pre-established categories
  4. Fill in appropriate fields
    • Menu Text: What is displayed in site menu 
      • Note: Be short with the Menu Text
    • Title: Name of page
    • Linked Page: Indicate whether or not this page will link to another page
      • Note: Selection of this checkbox will expand the menu:
        • Link: Select a link to direct to
        • Link Target: Opens the link in a different window
        • Use Menu: Select to use linked page's menu structure
    • Department Header: Select to make this page a department header
    • Description: Briefly describe the page
    • Keywords: Input keywords to enhance search functionality
    • Page Tags: Specify custom tags for your pages to allow for better search engine optimization or social media sharing
      • Note: Tags are entered in HTML format.
    • Image: Provide an image to represent the page
    • Hidden: Choose to hide this page from site menus
    • Feature Column: Display the feature column on this page 
  5. Select Create Page 
  6. Add widgets to your new page
  7. Select a saving option at the top of the new pagelive_edit_saving_options.png
    • Save: Will save the changes made without publishing to the live site
    • Save and Publish: Will save the changes and publish to the live site
    • Save as Copy: Will save the changes as a copy, without publishing to the live site
    • Cancel: Will delete the changes made
