Clear Local DNS Cache on Windows

Overview

This article will show you how to flush DNS for a computer running Windows.

Instructions 

  1. Select the Start button
    start_button.png
  2. Search Command Prompt Window
    Command_Prompt.png
  3. Within the prompt, type ipconfig /flushdns
    Prompt_Screen.png
  4. Hit enter and you should see a message stating Successfully flushed DNS Resolver Cache
    Enter_Cache.png
