Remove Flagged Comments

Overview

This article will show you how to remove a flagged comment in Community Voice.

Important Notes

  • Either the Owner or the System Administrator can review the post or discussion, and the comments from the public, as to why it was flagged, and remove or un-flag the comments.
  • Flagged items will remain visible to the public until they are removed.

Instructions

  1. Navigate to the Community Voice page

  2. Select the relevant Initiative

  3. Select the relevant Idea

  4. Navigate to the flagged comment and click Remove

    • Note: You can click Flagged as Inappropriate to view the reason why the comment was flagged.

    • Note: To just remove the flag, marking the comment as Appropriate, click Unflag.

  5. Fill in a Reason for Removing

  6. Click Remove Comment

Note: Community Voice also has an Inappropriate Word filter that appears under Site Properties. If the post has an inappropriate word in it, the system will prevent the post from being saved and let the user know they are using language that is not permitted on the site. To modify the Inappropriate Words List, please visit our Modify Inappropriate Words article.
